A mutual friend asked Paul and I to assist him with his campaign for Guild Presidency of Makerere University - 1995. We both relunctantly agreed, however upon the promulgation of the election results, our candidate had only one vote. From that day on, Paul always called me 'Kanyike' because it was clear that even I, Mr. Kanyike's campaign manager, did not vote for Kanyike. hehehehe.
